Our school is proud to operate a vibrant House System, designed to foster teamwork, community spirit, and healthy competition. The three houses are named after the iconic fells in the Longridge area, reflecting our strong local heritage. Parlick House, led by Mrs Miles, encourages resilience and determination; Fairsnape House, guided by Mr Brown, champions of creativity and collaboration; and Beacon House, under the leadership of Mr Anyon, inspires ambition and excellence. Together, these houses provide every student with a sense of belonging and an opportunity to shine, both in academic pursuits and extracurricular activities.

Parlick House, led by Mrs Miles, takes its name from the striking Parlick Fell and is proudly represented by the Ram. The ram symbolizes strength, resilience, and determination, qualities that inspire students to face challenges head‑on and support one another. Members of Parlick House are encouraged to embody courage and perseverance in both their studies and wider school life.

Guided by Mr Brown, Fairsnape House is named after the majestic Fairsnape Fell and carries the emblem of the Fox. The fox represents intelligence, adaptability, and creativity, reflecting the house’s spirit of innovation and teamwork. Students in Fairsnape House are motivated to think independently, collaborate effectively, and approach every opportunity with curiosity and resourcefulness.

Beacon House, under the leadership of Mr Anyon, is inspired by Beacon Fell and proudly bears the emblem of the Eagle. The eagle stands for vision, ambition, and excellence, encouraging students to aim high and soar to new heights. Beacon House members are driven to achieve their personal best, support their peers, and demonstrate leadership both inside and outside the classroom.
