The curriculum at Longridge High School is designed to:
- Enable our pupils to experience a broad, balanced and enriching curriculum that offers continuity and coherence whilst achieving high standards
- Promote the cultural, moral, mental and physical development of our pupils at the school and for society while preparing them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life.
Structure
Pupils have access to a comprehensive and varied range of National Curriculum subjects taught by specialist subject staff. The curriculum is organised through a departmental structure alongside a pastoral system based around year groups; 7-11 in which the pupils are organised into six forms per year group.
