Our Wellbeing Ambassadors have had a busy few weeks in school, promoting wellbeing and raising awareness of mental health.
They supported Emily and Caitlin from Compass Bloom in celebrating the organisation’s 40th anniversary by taking part in the 40 Miles of Kindness Walk, carrying their own specially designed baton.
Open Evening was a roaring success, with our Wellbeing Ambassadors once again supporting Emily from Compass Bloom and helping to promote the importance of wellbeing across our school community.
We also hosted a series of Mental Health Assemblies, where former pupil Alysia Sharrock shared her personal journey and spoke openly with pupils about her experiences.
Last week, we celebrated kindness through our Random Acts of Kindness initiative. Pupils and staff were awarded golden coins simply for showing kindness to others, something we are incredibly proud of and actively encourage throughout school. Congratulations to Year 11, who were awarded the title of our Kindest Year Group!
Keep your eyes and ears open for news of our next adventures!
