Excellence and Ambition Rewarded in Strong GCSE Results at Longridge High School
Students, staff and families at Longridge High School are celebrating an excellent set of GCSE results, with this year’s cohort achieving strong outcomes across a wide range of subjects.
The results reflect the hard work, resilience and determination shown by students throughout their time at the school and demonstrate the positive impact of a culture built around the school’s mission of “Excellence and Ambition from All, for All.”
This year’s students have secured another strong set of outcomes for the school, with notable successes across a wide range of subjects. The school is particularly pleased to see increases in the proportion of students achieving the highest grades.
Headteacher Mr Riley said:
“We are delighted with this year’s GCSE results and immensely proud of our students. Their achievements reflect not only their hard work and resilience, but also the determination and ambition they have demonstrated throughout their time at our school.
These outcomes are a testament to the collective efforts of our students, staff, parents, carers and governors. We are particularly pleased to see students achieving so strongly across a wide range of subjects and taking pride in all that they have accomplished.
These results demonstrate what ‘Excellence and Ambition from All, for All’ looks like in practice: students striving to achieve their very best, supported by dedicated staff and families who believe in their success.
As students prepare to begin the next chapter of their educational journey, the entire school community joins together in congratulating them on their achievements and celebrating all they have accomplished.“
